Walk around Warsaw with Hasselblad 500EL/M

Hasselblad 500EL / M

After my Hasselblad returned from service, it was time to test it. A short walk around neighborhood resulted in the following photos - as always my favorite lamps, edges, kinks, architectural elements and details.

The camera worked very well and the new battery made the mirror click nice! :)
I used ILFORD HP5 + film, which I turned up from 400ISO to 1600ISO.

Walk & Talk by Street Photo Poland

Walk & Talk by Street Photo Poland

I have always liked initiatives to share knowledge, exchange experiences, be able to work with others (how difficult it is especially in photography) - that's why as soon as I saw Street Photo Poland announcement that it will be organized Walk & Talk I signed up!

With a group of twenty people, we took a walk through the old town, falling into the crowd and doing what he likes most - photographing. There were digital cameras, the small and the big ones, there was also my panorama (Fuji G617), which is quite specific to those "street" ones;). It was something new, something different and I liked it.

Below are the frames that can be said are just a try to a real street. I used ILFORD HP5 + film, which I turned up from 400ISO to 1600ISO.

I recommend going out, walking, because it's not only an opportunity to meet new, other photographers, share knowledge, but also to exercise your eye in photography all the time.

Walk around Warsaw with Fuji G617

As always, it's good to stroll around Warsaw, discover new places (or see the old ones again) and find details that will be interesting in their simplicity, form.

I'm starting to understand Fuji G617 better and see its potential. Until now, I thought it would work only for landscapes, but it looks pretty good in presenting details.

I used ILFORD HP5 + film, which I turned up from 400ISO to 1600ISO. The film coped very well with this increase and the development process went without any problems.

Weekend with Fujica GW690III in Columna Medica

Visiting Columna Medica I took the opportunity and shoot some frames with Fujica GW690III, a handy monster (6x9 frame format) that works in every situation.

As a film I chose my favorite ILFORD Delta 3200, which not only has a beautiful grain but is also great for any manipulation with a change in sensitivity. I changed the native sensitivity of 3200 to 1250 and in the development process I used times for 1600. Effects below :)

Fuji G617 visits Mallorca

During the July holidays in Mallorca with sweetheart Monika, Marcel and Mikolaj, I had the opportunity to take a few shots with Fuji G617 Panorama camera.

Remembering about the central filter (-2EV), I made the decision to increase the film sensitivity from ISO 400 to 1600, which turned out to be a good decision and the quality I achieved on ILFORD HP5+ is very satisfying. Also, for the first time I did not use the dedicated Sekonic light meter, instead of this I used the LUMU app Light Meter on the iPhone. The risk paid off although during all of the photos there was adrenaline what came out of it :) but the app interface, speed and accuracy worked as it should.

Now I'm just waiting for the 13x18 enlarger which will allow me (finally!) to show real prints and not scans.
